I'm a romantic person, so I tend to attach a certain romanticism to every goal I have. As I've actually reached a few, I've realized that the reality is never quite what I thought. This is so very profound. Although I'...Wow, Jen. This is so very profound. Although I've never yearned for a mentor myself, I can feel how it must have been for you. When I was a homebirth midwife I actually was a mentor to one of my students. It's a very honorable, yet scary place to be. I know how much is at stake when another human being looks up to you as if you have all the answers and then some. I'm glad you found the love of your life!
